Pastor’s Vacation
Pastor John will be away on vacation in the
Adirondacks region for two weeks. He will be back in his office on Tuesday,
Sept 2. Taking pastoral calls while he is away will be
Don Lawrence.
Parenting 101
This class reinforces
pro-active parenting for the Christian household. Classes begin Sunday, Sept.
14 following worship service. See Eileen Modafarri for more info.

Mission
Trip BBQ
A chicken BBQ,
sponsored by St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and Thrivent for Lutherans is being
held to raise funds for a Mission trip to Biloxi, MS for Katrina Relief.
Tickets ($8 each or a family pack of four for $30) are PRESALE only and can be
purchased by calling the church office at 536-8165. The dinners will be
available for pick up from noon until 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 30 at the
Fireman’s Field in Penn Yan. Chicken, salt potatoes, baked beans, cole slaw,
brownie and roll.
