Cross Request for 2007-2008 has just been received. If you wish to help fill
this year’s request, you may sign the sheet at the front of the sanctuary. Most
of the items must be brought in by November 15. The following items are needed
for Stewart Community Baptist Church in Carson City, Nevada: small toys, new
Bibles, gift wrap, ribbon, gift tags and hand puppets. The Veteran’s Village in
the Philippines has asked for boys’ shirts and shorts or pants. We will also be
making bandages and patchwork pieces. Please see Kathie Lawrence if you have

Yan Area Council of Churches annual “Turkey Walk” will take place on Sunday,
October 28, at 1:30 p.m. departing from FBC. For more information on being a

Drive
The Board
of Trustees annual luncheon is just two weeks away! This event is the kick off
of our Stewardship Drive and is planned for Sunday, Nov. 4, immediately
following Sunday School. We will furnish desserts and beverages and the
congregation is asked to bring a dish to share and your own place settings. We
look forward to seeing you there to join us for food, fun and fellowship!

Nutrition Program needs volunteers to help deliver meals to homebound seniors
and to help pack meals at our Penn Yan Grange kitchen site. If you have an hour
