This view also shows the West section of the seating. This photo is taken from the balcony level looking down on the concrete tiers on which the rows of seats were placed. This is looking down through the "hanging ceiling" which was not original, and which has been partially removed. Again, the floor shown here at the bottom of the photo (where people are standing) has yet to be removed. It is a portion of the floor which covered the whole seating area. It was added when the Sampson ceased it's theater operations.
