This photo shows the stairway to the East end of the balcony. Beneath the stairway are the remains of the most inadequate toilet facility you can imagine for a theater that seated around 900! Another stairway at the other side of the theater led to the West end of the balcony. That stairway is long gone! In the room beyond the foot of the stairway there had been a long set of stairs which started near an exterior door, going all the way up to the "gallery", or second balcony.
