Slesvigske Jęgerkorps

1 battalion (the second) took part in the campaign. The special Altonaiske JęgerGrenader Kompagni from Altona was also present. This company had been formed to guard the bank in Altona. The company was annexed into Slesvigske Jęgerkorps. The light troops had until 1810 been wearing dark green uniforms, but due to the blocades it was getting difficult to find enough green material. In 1810 the uniform was changed to dark grey. Both jacket and breeches became dark grey. Collar, cuffs, turnbacks, facings and shoulder straps were in regimental color. All were edged in white. The troops wore knee high boots and a shako. The shako had a green feather and green cords. All leather was black. The regimental color for Slesvigske Jęgerkorps was darkgreen. The regiment wore yellow buttons.
