INDO CHAOS is a non-profit organization comprising of individuals from all over the world. It was established by Soekarno Chenata on March 9, 1998 with the main purpose to inform the world about the racially related problems faced by the ethnic Chinese in Indonesia.

There has been a recent increase in the frequency and intensity of racially motivated riots (like looting, burning, torture, and rape). However, the foreign news media has shown only little interest while the local news media is often less objective in its coverage. Hence, INDO CHAOS views that it is necessary to establish an open forum to voice the cry, scream, and suffering of the ethnic Chinese in Indonesia.

INDO CHAOS will endeavor our best to elevate public awareness regarding the racially related issues faced by the ethnic Chinese to a higher level. We work to accomplish our goal by encouraging and suggesting the news media and human rights groups to pay more attention to and keep a current focus on those issues. We hope that in the end our efforts might well contribute to the process of alleviating the racially related problems in Indonesia.
