Information about the McDonnell-Douglas A3D Skywarrior

Sorry, no pictures with the A3D for now...

A3D is an old aircraft which about the pilots joke saying that A3D comes from All 3 Dead
The pilots' joke about the A3D is partially true, because A3D had a crew of three, and none of them had ejection seats or parachutes
A3D Skywarrior had 23m in length and a huge 32m wingspan, and its the biggest navy airplane ever to take-off from an aircraft carrier.
It had 2 jet engines, but it was an subsonic bomber.
The A3D replaced the earlier generation of North American AJ Savages, which were navy bombers and had 2 propeller engines and one jet engine, for extra speed.
They stood in service until 1949, when the A3D had entered service.
