The ARA is considering the purchase of this ship in order to replace the recently deleted ARA Cabo San Antonio (LST 1142 Class)
New helos for the Marine Corps
The ARA has acquired 8 Bell UH-1īs from the US Surplus Inventory. These helos will be the first organic aircraft destimed mainly to IMARA tasks.

Piranha Class River Boats
The Marines have recently acquired an unknown quantity of Piranha Class fast river boats for their Riverine Force (FFLUV).
Kevlar PASGT
The Marines have acquired vests and helmets from the US Personal Armor Sysytem, Gorund Trops (PASGT) to replace aging M-1helmets and some flak vests. They have also been testing the LBV-88 vest for their special forces units (Comandos Anfibios).
