Over 1100 Soldier's Service Records Details the service record, life and burial place of nearly all 1100 members of the regiment. Not just a list of names, each company roster contains a goldmine of personal information and history on each soldier. This information is graciously provided by Wilbur D. Jones from his 1991 copywright work. It has been revised, expanded and illustrated with his permission. There are also over 110 soldier portraits to date in the records.

I served from June 1999 to December 1999 on a deployment to Kosovo with the 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry of the 1st Infantry Division -- THE BIG RED ONE!

Our Infantry battalion went to Kosovo in June 1999 and was the first U.S. Army mechanized Infantry battalion to deploy to Kosovo. Click HERE for more info and photos of our mission there.
