Greetings ladies. They say that the third time is the charm; and I feel pretty lucky to have been again re-elected as your President. I want to thank all of you for your vote of confidence in reelecting me. I also want to thank all of you for your help in the past year and I am looking forward to working with you again this year. I wish to thank everyone who participated in the National Presidents luncheon in May. Thanks especially to Joanna Lineaweaver and Eldine Erickson. They both worked very hard on a wonderful meal. They also did a beautiful job decorating the tables. "Thanks also to Janie O'Niell, Olive Hare & Barbara Rich for running the Chinese Auction. Your help is greatly appreciated." Congratul ations to Harriet Moran on receiving her Lifetime Membership card. Congratulations, also, to Cyndie Doherty, Eldine Erickson, Joanna Lineaweaver, Janie O\rquote Neill, Helene Rausch, & Veronica Teixeria on receiving the Rooster Pin for recruiting members. We we re pleased to have our National President, Dorothy Maurath, do the presentations. Ladies, we need to do more recruiting for the Unit. If you know anyone who is eligible, talk them into signing up; if they would be eligible, but their husbands have not joined, then sign them both up. We can do that. We are not limited by the fact that we belong to the Unit. Thanks to everyone who participated in the Memorial Service. The installation will be held June 10 with the cocktail hour at 6 p.m., the dinner a t 7 p.m., the Installation Ceremony begins at 8:15 followed by karaoke with Tammy. The cost is a reasonable $10 per person. We hope to see you all there. Your new officers are: President, Cathy Jenkins; Vice President, Olive Hare; Secretary, Joanna Li neaweaver; Treasurer, Janie O\rquote Niell. The new Board of Directors is made up of the following: Cyndie Doherty, Eldine Erickson, Mary Kaye, Connie McMahon, Erna Peters, Muriel Reed, & Lillian Sager. If anyone has any money-making ideas that they would like t o see carried out, please let one of the Board of Directors know. The hostess for the June meeting will be Lillian Sager with the help of Helene Rausch. REMINDER: The June meeting will be held at 7pm due to NJROTC. Birthday greetings to anyone havi ng birthdays this month and next, and get well wishes to all who have been, or are ill. Our deepest sympathy is extended to anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one.
