Binky L. Magbutay

(Binky)chose to study her secondary course in the Science High School although she passed and topped the entrance examination of the UP High School. Her choice had something to do with the distance problem and not for the academic one.

Binky is one of the twenty-three students who enrolled in the BS Mathematics program in her batch. Naturally gifted she got through most of her subjects with ease during her freshman and sophomore year with the least studying effort. Her lack of studying is not due to poor time management but simply because of her lax nature which her friends keeps on bothering her about.

Upon her junior year Binky fell behind some of her academe and not for the lack of intelligence, her classmates knows she could ace any subject, but for the lack of effort. Binky might join her peers in their summer class adventure in Diliman. Her friends are going to give her a hard time if ever she continues her lax attitude on the second semester.

The bottle of Tampico Orange juice will forever remind Binky of her friends` willingness to keep her focus on her academe. Every now and then they threaten her some bodily harm if she don`t do this or that with connection to school work. She takes no offence in most of these for she knows they only care for her very much. Binky had always been the cool one and she always will be for that is what makes her different from the rest.
