Java in a Nutshell by O'Reilly and Associates (my and any Unix geek's
absolute favorite publisher) is an okay very-quick tutorial and extremely
thorough reference. One of the guys where I work said that the
JavaSquish-published books are better (in what way, he couldn't specify,
natch) so you should probably try one of those if you're looking for a
more thorough tutorial (I'll probably do something like this, I'll let you
know if I find something more interesting...)

Well, the exciting JRisk Home Page is at

http://www.lab.net/~rsr/jrisk/

and I guess you can even be one of the Lucky Alpha Testers. Note that
this is on the wrong side of my house's 28.8 connection, so it's
DEFINITELY not going to be the final place in any case. I have a nice T1
at work and some spare MIPS on a Sparc 10 clone that'll soon be running
Sparclinux, muuahahahahha!

Oh, also, jrisk@lab.net is now the Official JRisk Mailing List
(majordomo@lab.net) and jrisk-bugs@lab.net goes to me.

Also, I just set up a JRisk Developers' Page at

http://www.lab.net/~rsr/jrisk/devel/

Note that I've just modified my .sig to indicate that I'm Just Another
Fucking Perl/Java Hacker.
