This is an account of the adventures of Cord X, as seen through the eyes of Evenflow (that’s me by the way). Cord X is still a relatively new Cord, meaning they don’t have as much history as the MIC (yet). Here, however, I will tell the first major story of Cord X, the events of the first annual Cord Sleepover.
The Cord Sleepover was an all-Cord event, meant to give the new Cord groups a chance to bond and have some fun. This is the account of the first major mission of Cord X. The purpose of this encounter was to secure dominance within the Cord organization. To accomplish this task, it was apparent that hydro-weaponry (known as HW's) would be necessary for offensive use.
It was decided that Cord X would have to purchase their HW's, as their previous HW cache was destroyed or lost while they were on a secret mission on Vancouver Island (they went under the alias "Cabin 24") this past summer. The question was, what particular kind of HW's, and where would they purchase them? Agent Dish (who is well known for his battle skills and is a master tactician) informed us of a source for HW's. Agents Murman, Evenflow, and Dish met with the infamous weapons dealer known only as Liquidation World. We found some suitable guns at a fair price. The we purchased a small menagerie of weapons, some of which were the Noisy Cricket, made famous when they were used during the previously mentioned mission. We also found some fine weapons that had a Super-Soaker like tank that were small and easily concealed. Their twin barrels was also a strong asset. After purchasing enough HW's for themselves and other agents, the intrepid trio went to the church. There the weapons were dispensed. Until their guns were taken away (at around 23 00 hours), Cord X caused maximum devastation against all that opposed or challenged them.
Then everyone went to the Porch Christmas Concert. The Porch is something that happens every second Sunday night. The junior highs, senior highs, and college students of all the Tsawwassen and Ladner churches get together for an awesome time of worship. At the Christmas Concert, we sang a bunch of awesome songs, and the group Doulos played. Cord X, energized by sugar and adrenaline, dominated the mosh pit and greatly enjoyed the time of worship.
Following that the Cord groups returned to the church to ingest some calories (pizza) and thus increase energy. There were some head-to-head challenges, which (overall Cord X mastered easily). Cord X DOMINATED the 70s TV show's theme songs challenge.
What happened next was the moment when dominance was truly established. A younger, upstart Cord, known as the Corporate Cord, had been annoying us for a large part of the evening. This was noted as an antagonistic offense which forced us to respond with an iron fist. After waiting for the Corporation to walk to sev (a Slurpee rehydration facility), we changed into our battle mode ninja tunics and loaded into our transport vehicle. We swiflty went to the ice rink close to the church. We grabbed a few snowballs each from the large pile of ice scrapings, then piled back into the vehicle. The Corporate Cord was just passing by. We quickly drove near them, then emerged from the vehicle in a curling attack pattern, sending us sweeping through the Corporation like ninjas high on pixie sticks. We struck them swiftly and brutally. Our latest lab reports indicate they had approximately 2700 to 1 chances of beating us. Having broken the upstarts spirit, we returned to the church in glory.
After that we had some very competitive slurm matches. Slurm is a game in which you take a sleeping bag and place it over you such that your head is in the foot of the bag. You then wrestle and try to smother other slurmers. It is very challenging, since you can't see and you can hardly breath. When someone says "uncle", everyone takes off their sleeping bags, the loser is removed from the ring, and the match continues. The last slurmee standing wins. Slurm is excellent for battle training, since it promotes agressiveness and endurance.
All in all the sleepover was a excellent night for XTerminate. All mission objectives were accomplished.
