Bogue Rats Reunited
- I was at MATCU-61 MATCU-23 from Oct 75 to April 79. I
lost all contact with all Marines I was with at Bogue
Field. In Nov 98 I got webtv and found The Few Com. I
started searching for Bogue Rats. The first Rat I found was
Dave Renar. He was at Bogue The Same time I was there. We
started writting and came up with the idea to make a web
site and to start a reunion. I found Joe Suzik who was at
Matcu with me. He told me about Bruce Janes. Bruce made the
web site a reality. Thank You very much Top. Since I
started this site I have been reunited with 6 Marines. John
Kirk Jr (JJ). Was like a bother to me. Alan Stuber And Joe
Suzik I always looked up to them. MGYSGT Janes, MGYSGT Ski,
and WO McDonald Helped mold me to the person I am today.I
would like to post more Marines stories.I also found another brother of mine Wayne Julian (Dr J) through J.J. So all of you
Bogue Rats write me and let me know how you found the site,
and if you found anybody through the log. Thanks.
Frank Groblebe was never at Bogue he was reunited with Ernie Williams and Brian Maki through the site. His story was alot like mine. Hopefully he can make the reunion too.
Bob Croyle Found alot of Bogue Rats he had lost contact with because of the site.
It makes me feel great when I get a letter about Marines getting reunited. I can use any help you all can give me.
The first reunion looks like it will be 7-15 to 7-22.
