OCTOBER 31, 2001 - - Sons of the American Legion Pony Express Squadron 359 today announced they were sending one dollar for each of their members under age 18 to America’s Fund for Afghan Children.

“We support President Bush in his efforts to show compassion and mercy to those in need,” said Past Squadron Commander Jerome L. Goolsby. “We are also asking that each youth organization in the area do their part to support this effort by asking their members to donate a dollar each to the fund.”

The Squadron is a joint program run by American Legion Post 11 and American Legion Post 359.
