Cuisine
As a
king, Peppa is understandably choosy about his snacks.
If it's not just right, he won't eat it, no matter how
hungry he might be. Even though most dogs will eat any
treat from any source, Peppa will only accept treats
from people that have passed his many stringent
requirements. Even then, if he doesn't like the treat,
he'll turn up his nose at it, or even spit it out. He
regularly refuses treats from his vet, much to her
chagrin. Some people might call this kind of behavior
"spoiled." We call it "regal."
One
of King Peppa's favorite treats is Science Diet puppy
biscuits. They are crunchy, so they're good for his
teeth, and they're tasty as well, it seems.
But,
just like almost anyone else, when no one else is
around, the king has a weakness for junk food. His
particular favorite is Alpo Grilled Burger Treats; he
got his first taste of them from the teacher in his
obedience class. At first we thought that she was an
amazing teacher because Peppa was doing everything she
said. Then we realized that, although she was a good
teacher, Peppa's good behavior was a sneaky
Machiavellian ploy to get as many treats as possible.
But then again, maybe that's what training is all about.
For
his main course Peppa enjoys Science Diet Large Breed
Puppy food, liberally sprinkled with parmesan cheese.
Such a luxurious feast could only be fit for a king!
Peppa is looking forward to visiting Italy and finding
out where this wonderful flavor comes from!
