    Eastern North Carolina Pork Baste

  • 4 cups cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • Mix ingredients well and use as basting sauce.
