Pokemon - Monday, June 04, 2001, 6:50 PM ----------------------------------------

Billy and his Meowth beat up a poor Farfetch'd, and Aidan tries to save her. Unfortunately, he can't.

Farfetch'd> Cobblestone Way - Route 12: Light Trail
Farfetch'd>

A quiet expanse of cobblestones leading to and from Lavender Town make up the path that begins (or ends?) Route 12. It's a charming path, flanked on both sides by thick, ancient fir trees. The sea isn't too far away and can be heard in all it's natural glory, splashing and foaming a few miles away. The ground is rocky, gravelly, and holds very little in the way of good earth, but it adds to the rustic, untamed ambiance that makes the place what it is. The trees hide lots of Pokemon and it's a good place to find some decent kinds, if not all out rare types. Water types can be found along the trail near the bridges. It all depends on what is wanted.

Farfetch'd> Obvious exits:
Farfetch'd> South <S> leads to Cobblestone Way - Route 12: Fjords.
Farfetch'd> North <N> leads to Lavender Town: South Entrance.
Farfetch'd> Fiery Jeep arrives from Cobblestone Way - Route 12: Fjords.

Farfetch'd> Fiery Jeep has arrived.

Farfetch'd> From inside the Jeep, Aidan has left.

Farfetch'd> Aidan has arrived.

Farfetch'd> Aidan pulls his jeep off the side of the trail and motions for Paws, the Growlithe, to hop out. "Go ahead...I knew I shouldn't have let you drink that Icee when we left Maiden's." He shakes his head and glances back at the rest of his pokemon sitting in the back. When Paws hops out to do business in the brush, Aidan brushes some of his fur off the front seat, then stands up to hang over the roll cage...Looking out over the area.

Farfetch'd> "Ha! All right, Meowth! Slash attack!" A boy, sixteen or seventeen, snickers to himself as he commands his feline Pokemon to attack a poor, not-fully mature female Farfetch'd. "Meeeowth!" The cat replies, grinning evilly as he dives forward to slice the Farfetch'd yet again. The duck seems very weak - obviously, the boy attacked her multiple times. <S... stop...> She quacks out quietly. <Aww, shaddup!> The Meowth raises his front paw, and smack! Slashes the duck right across the face. "Feeetch'd!!" The flying type cries out, tumbling back. The boy brandishes a Pokeball with a snicker. "Good job, Meowth."

Farfetch'd> Aidan watches the boy for a moment and asks, "You have a pretty good Meowth there. He looks powerfull." His eyes move from the Boy to the Farfetch'd, "Though the Farfetch'd over there doesn't look like a good match. Want to take on one of mine?" Aidan hops out of his jeep and moves around the front of it. The Pokemon all rush to the front seat to look through the front window.

Farfetch'd> "I could use another flying type in my collection." The boy sneers, tossing the Pokeball from his left hand to his right. The boy begins to laugh, and the Meowth snickers with his trainer. Their little fun-fest, however, is broken by Aidan's presence. "What? Go away, I'm busy catching Pokemon." The boy breaks his face away from the man, taking a few steps toward the injured duck. "I think I'll name you... Squeaky." The Meowth glances up at his trainer. <But... that's the name of my Rubber Psyduck.> The boy grins down at his Meowth. "Wouldn't you like a Farfetch'd for a chew toy, Meowth?" <Yeah!> "Great." He glares down at the duck again, who weakly murmurs "Far...fetch'd...". She's obviously in a lot of pain.

Tracks in the snow, a glimpse of something. What's on Northern Mountain? (Saving)

Farfetch'd> Aidan shakes his head and whistles for Paws out of the forest. "Now...I'm not the nicest trainer around. My pokemon have attacked when they shouldn't, and I've let them team up on a pokemon just to catch it. But I sure as heck got it some help as fast as I could run...or drive, and only did so when our own lives were in danger." He looks at the Farfetch'd and then at the boy. "Call your Meowth off, kid. The Farfetch'd has had it." Paws to comes to his side just as he finishes talking.

Farfetch'd> The boy glares at Aidan fiercefully, but... well, the man's a lot older than he is. "Fine. Meowth, off." <Why? Don't listen to them!> "Meowth. I said, off." There's an amount of evilness in the command, enough to make the cat grudgingly retreat to his trainer's ankles. "Now, are you happy? Is it okay for me to throw the darn Pokeball now, or do you have anything else to correct me with?" Yes, sarcasm. But you can't beat the kid up for being sarcastic. His hand is positioned so the Pokeball is right over the Farfetch'd - all he has to do is drop it...

Farfetch'd> Aidan sucks on his teeth for a second. "Tell you what. You and I battle. If you win, you can catch the Farfetch'd. If I win, I get to catch it. Deal?" He doesn't trust that the kid will treat the Pokemon well. And yes. Aidan treats his pokemon -very- well after catching them. "If not, I will make sure you don't catch a pokemon again until you are eighteen."

Farfetch'd> The seventeen year old glares at Aidan. "Ha!" The boy crosses his arms, glaring at Aidan. "No. It's my Pokemon, and I'm going to catch her. Are you threatening to attack me?" He makes a mock cringe, arms shaking in pretend fear. "I'm so scared!" Straightening his posture, he glances down at the whimpering, beat-up Farfetch'd. His Meowth sneers at her. "Besides, if you do attack me and steal my Pokemon, I'll simply tell an Officer." He glances down at his finely-bitten nails, with a little grin. "You'll be in jail forever. My father's got connections," And here he glares at Aidan. "'Buddy'."

Farfetch'd> Aidan clutches his chest, "Oh my. I'm sorry." He takes a step back, looking a bit like he is afraid of the kid. "Umm...I apologiz...Mr.?" He asks the kid his name for the first time, still clutching his shirt. The Pokemon in the jeep sort of slink back into the seat.

Farfetch'd> "Putzit." The boy glares at Aidan. "Billy Putzit." His Pokemon doesn't waver. "You know, I would like for you to go now so I can capture my Pokemon in peace. Look, you're frightening her!" Hearing his cue, the Meowth bares his claws at the Farfetch'd, also showing his sharp teeth. The Farfetch'd squeals in terror. "See? Buzz off!" With the hand not holding the Pokeball over the duck, he waves in the other direction.

Farfetch'd> Aidan shakes his head. "Billy Putzit. Great...Let me write that down." He fishes out a notebook and pen and says, "I think the subject of my next book will be a whiney little Pokemon Trainer who used his Meowth to terrorize Pokemon. And when he is challenged, he refuses like the coward he is." The Growlithe growls at the Meowth as he continues to terrorize the Farfetch'd. "And now that I got a good look at you, I know what the guy will look like." He finishes scribbling something and says, "I doubt your father's friends will like to hear that."

Farfetch'd> The boy twitches. Visibly. The flinch ruptures through his whole body, and his Meowth glances up at him curiously. <Billy?> Mr. Putzit glances down at his Meowth with a 'Hush!' in his eyes. He glances up at Aidan. "Well, then. Fine. Go tell them now! Leave me to my Farfetch'd! I still have a few more hours to hunt..." He glares at Aidan. "And they're being consumed by your babble." The Farfetch'd quacks slightly. The Meowth makes a motion to Pay Day her, but stops as the Growlithe starts growling at him. "Meeeowth..." He mumbles to himself, huddling a little closer to his trainer.

Farfetch'd> The misty light dims slightly.

Farfetch'd> Aidan blinks at that. "Oh wonderfun. So you are a liar too?" He shakes his head. "Not Billy then. No matter. I'll make up a fitting name for you then. Besides, I'm sure I will be able to find out quickly when I show your description to Officer Jenny." As the Meowth shrinks back to his trainer, Aidan shakes his head, "Looks to me like your Meowth is as afraid of a real battle as you are."

Farfetch'd> "S... so what?" The boy is obviously intimidated. "I'll just tell them that you were threatening me. Threatening to write me into your book as a mean person. Go away, and... and..." The boy glares, a little passion taking over. "Did you just... insult... my Meowth?" The Meowth glances at the Farfetch'd while listening to the conversation. The cat blinks. <B... Billy?> "Hush, Meowth!" The boy gets all up in Aidan's face. "You take your pointless little comments back!" <Billy!> "Hush!" He glares at Aidan again. "The only reason my Meowth is cringing is because he's annoyed by your smell!" <Billy!> "What?!" <She's escaping!> "Huh?" Billy glances over his shoulder, to see... the Farfetch'd scampering off, surprisingly fast for such a wounded Pokemon. "My Farfetch'd!" He shrieks. "You made me lose her!" Frantically, he starts sprinting off toward the bird.

Farfetch'd> Aidan chuckles, "Sure. They'd believe a sniveling brat over a respected author." As the Farfetch'd goes running, and then the Boy goes running, Aidan and Paws start after. Training every day...along with his long legs makes Aidan pretty darn fast. But he doesn't try to pass him. "She's getting away from you kid. Looks like you've been made a fool of by a tricky Farfetch'd."

Farfetch'd> "Oh, shut up!" Billy grumbles as he takes flight toward the Farfetch'd. <She couldn't have gone far,> The Meowth comments quietly. "Shut up, Meowth. You should've hunted her while you saw her escape." The Meowth doesn't reply. Up ahead, the Farfetch'd has dropped to the ground, unable to continue from her wounds. "Far... fetch'd..." She groans, weakly trying to get up. That Meowth (or did the boy use other Pokemon, as well?) played quite a number on her. "Ah ha!! Found ya!" He shouts very loudly - easily alerting Aidan to his presence. He takes a few steps closer, and rears back his arm. "I should have caught you when I had the chance." The Meowth hisses, and the boy prepares the hurl the Pokeball as accurately and powerfully as possible. Will he succeed? Or will Aidan or his Pokemon somehow block the path? How thrilling!

Farfetch'd> Aidan points at the Pokeball as the boy starts to throw. "Paws. Fetch! Use your Agility." Like a shot, the large Growlithe shoots forward through the underbrush, not slowing down until the ball is in the air. Like he has so many times with his own bright red bouncy-ball, Paws leaps over a bush and opens his jaws to snatch the thing out of the air before it can open up and catch the Farfetch'd. In the Meantime, Aidan starts running behind, an the pokemon in the Jeep all hop out to get a closer look.

Farfetch'd> "My Pokeball!" Billy shrieks at the top of his lungs, pointing a finger at the Growlithe. "That is robbery!! I will have you arrested!! Meowth, quick, go over and make sure that Farfetch'd doesn't escape." <Okay.> The cat bounds off toward the duck, trying to keep away from the Growlithe. Hopefully, the pup will be more interested in Billy's reaction than to the cat. Meanwhile, Billy, glaring at the dog, is yelling fits of "Give me back my Pokeball!" and "I'll have you sued!" and "You brainless mutt!". As Aidan approaches, he points a warning finger at Aidan. "Tell your mangy Growlithe to give me back my Pokeball. And I am not kidding." He's not! Really! Snicker.

Tracks in the snow, a glimpse of something. What's on Northern Mountain? (Saving)

Farfetch'd> Everything is grey, veiled by darkening twilit mist. It's still, warm, and the air feels damp.

Farfetch'd> Paws growls at the Meowth, not listening to the punk kid. As he looks at the Cat, there is very literally fire in his reddening eyes, and the rumbling sound of anger flows out through the corners of his mouth where the pokeball isn't. "All right," Aidan smirks, watching Paws for just a moment. "He just likes to play." Louder now, he calls out, "Paws! Bring him back the ball." For another moment, the Growlithe growls, but then comes back and drops the ball at the kid's feet. Though now it is completely covered in Growlithe saliva-slime. Doubtful that it will work, what with the bite marks and the sticky mess on it. Farfetch'd> Twilight deepens the grey of the fog.

Farfetch'd> Billy stares down at the Pokeball. "You expect me to touch that?" He asks, absolutely appaled. "Gross!" He kicks the Pokeball to the side, grumbling. "I'll let you go on this one, seeing as how I have one empty Pokeball left." He yanks the ball out of his jacket, glaring at Aidan as he does. "If your mutt touches this one, you're in big trouble." The Meowth, noticing that the Growlithe was bringing the ball to his trainer, used this as a chance to scamper up to the Farfetch'd, making sure she doesn't escape.

Farfetch'd> "Paws. Don't let the Meowth touch the Farfetch'd again." Aidan says, taking a couple of steps towards the kid. "You know. I don't care what you do anymore. You go run to Officer Jenny or to your Daddy and tell them that a famous Author caught you in the forest needlessly beating up and terrorizing a Farfetch'd. Kid...Subduing a Pokemon to catch it is one thing, but what you did was too far." He glances over as Paws uses his Agility attack again to zip between the Cat and bird the best he can. "I do have to thank you though kid. You did show me where I may have crossed the line in the past. But that doesn't mean I am going to let you completely crap on it."

Farfetch'd> "Shut up!" Billy glares at Aidan. "Turn me in all you like, I'll deny it all! I'll say your stupid Growlithe attacked her!" And, with that, Billy hurls the Pokeball at the Farfetch'd. Over at the Farfetch'd, the Meowth backs slowly away from the duck and the dog, hissing, fftting, but not challenging. <'snot your Pokemon.> The feline mutters, unaware of the Pokeball now heading toward the duck. Billy flinches a bit - he hadn't noticed the Growlithe. "He'd better not get in the way," The boy mutters, now jogging forward towards the Farfetch'd (though, of course, the Pokeball will reach there long before he does).

Farfetch'd> As the ball sails over the Meowth's head, Aidan calls out, "Quick puff, Paws!" The Canine looks up seeing the ball and lets out a very quick burst of flame directly in the air. -His- ball is fire-proof, so when they do this drill, it is to train the Growlithe to hit a moving target, but now, the intense heat should either disable the ball, or knock it off course. Luckily, he aims up and not at the ground or the Meowth. Aidan takes off after the Boy, moving to protect his Growlithe, knowing he won't attack the boy.

Farfetch'd> In a fit of fury, the boy's jog turns into a full-fledged sprint. He screams curses, oathes, and other such insults at the Growlithe - can you blame him? Pokeballs cost money, and this one could prevent him from getting a Farfetch'd, all because some man comes along and says he can't catch it. The boy's sort of right here, too... anyway. Billy rushes right over to the Farfetch'd (chances are, the Growlithe is too distracted burning the Pokeball), crudely picks her up off the ground, and resumes his sprint. "I'm going to go to a Pokemon Center and heal her - which I would have done, had I caught her in the first place!" He yells at the top of his lungs as he runs. Is he telling the truth... or lying to get Aidan off his case? He *is* running in the direction of town...

Farfetch'd> "Crud." Aidan mutters, watching the boy run off. He can't chance the boy down, but he certainly can make sure he goes where he says he is going. "Paws. Back to the Jeep." Quickly, the get back loaded into the vehicle and crank it up. With a squeel of the tires, the man spins the jeep around and takes off behind the kid.

Farfetch'd> Looking over his shoulder, the boy snickers. Good. Aidan's no longer on his trail (or so Billy thinks!). "You're becoming a real hassle." Billy mutters, dropping the Farfetch'd onto the ground rather cruelly. The already-wounded duck hits the ground with a quack of pain. This poor thing! "Now..." He mumbles to himself. "Where can I find another Pokeball?" Hmm... <Magikarp.> "Huh?" <Magikarp.> The Meowth, who was, of course, following his trainer, gestures with a furry head towards his trainer's Pokeball-belt. <Send out your Magikarp, and use his Pokeball.> Billy is silent for a moment. "Wouldn't that kill the Magikarp?" He asks, a little worried. The Meowth nods. The boy frowns a bit... before brightening back up with an evil grin. "Oh, what the heck. It's just a Magikarp. It'll make good prey for a flock of Pidgeys or som...e...thi... hey, Meowth? Do you hear something?" Both trainer and Pokemon (both Meowth and weakened Farfetch'd) glance in the direction of where the sounds of a car is coming from. Aidan is not visible yet, but his Jeep is making quite a bit of noise.

Farfetch'd> Fog and darkness shroud the world.

Farfetch'd> Aidan turns on his lights, setting them on high beams. He speeds towards the trio, seeing the Farfetch'd lying on the ground in the middle of the road. Seeing that the boy lied once again, he steps on it, not stopping until he pulls off of the road right next to the kid. On the way, he takes an empty pokeball out of his glove compartment and readies it. If he has to, he'll throw it before the kid gets a chance.

Farfetch'd> Billy's eyes quadruple in size. Has the man gone crazy? "No! Nononononono!!!" The boy quickly outstretches his arms. "Please don't run me over! I'm sorry! No! Please!" Hey, you'd probably react the same if a jeep was driving toward you... well, no, diving out of the way would be better, but Billy is not known for intelligence. Looks like his Meowth is, though. "Meeeowth!" The Pokemon mutters, chomping down on the Farfetch'd's wing. She quacks in pain. What was that for? ... oh. The Meowth, as fast as he can, drags the duck off to the side. Hopefully off of the driving path. The boy just simply sobs, hoping he's not about to get ran over.

Farfetch'd> Aidan revs up the engine, making it sound like he is driving extremely fast, but in actuality, he puts it in neutral and steers it to the left of the road. Slamming the jeep into park, Aidan jumps out, still in the cloud of dust he stirred up. His eyes widen too when he sees the Meowth pulling on the Farfetch'd. "Paws. Take care of the Meowth. Sizzle. Watch the punk." As Aidan stomps over towards the Farfetch'd and Meowth, the Electabuzz hops out to stand in front of the boy, while the Growlithe shoots over at the Meowth. <Drop the Bird, Cat. You have about a second before I rip every piece of fur off of your worthless body.> Paws can be absolutely poetic when he's not thinking about what he is saying.

Farfetch'd> The Meowth hisses at the Growlithe. <No. I just saved her from getting ran over by your crazed trainer. We were trying to save her, and you threatened to run us over.> Well, uh, okay. On Billy's side, the boy is glad to have narrowly escaped becoming engraved into the ground, but his little trollish attitude shines forth once again. "Are you absolutely crazy?!" He screams at Aidan. "Are you trying to kill me *and* these Pokemon?" He gestures in the general direction of Meowth and the Farfetch'd. "I'm trying to save her. Buzz off! Mind your own business!" You'd be frazzled too if you just narrowly avoided becoming roadkill.

Farfetch'd> Aidan wasn't even close to hitting the boy, but right now, he doesnt feel like arguing. "Drop it, Meowth." Aidan says, "Or I call for a whole lot of pain for you." The Electabuzz moves to stand in between the boy and wherever he wants to go. If he touches her, she'll give him the thrill of his life. Paws on the other hand just growls and inches towards the Meowth. <I warned you, Meowth. Say goodbye to your fur.>

Farfetch'd> Ha. But the Meowth has a trick up his sleeve, or would if Meowths had sleeves. <You make one motion... one motion...> He glances down at the injured Farfetch'd, whose wing is in his mouth. <And I kill her.> He holds up one of his paws, his claws retracting out. The Farfetch'd mumbles a weak <Noo...>. The Meowth ignores her. <And I will, too.> Billy, on the other hand, is nowhere near as coolheaded as the Meowth. "You don't tell my Pokemon what to do, you crazy nutbag!! Don't you realize that, if you had let me capture her before, she'd already be safe and healed by now?" Uh, maybe? "What do you want from me, anyway? Huh? Do you want my" curse, cursing curse "Magikarp?! I'll" cursing "give you the Magikarp if it'll make you go away!"

Tracks in the snow, a glimpse of something. What's on Northern Mountain? (Saving)

Farfetch'd> Aidan shakes his head and gets ready to throw the pokeball since the Meowth is more interested in the Growlithe. <When I finish with you, I'll tear your trainer apart too!> He pauses though, knowing he's there to just basically take the Meowth's attention so he can make a good toss at it. The Electabuzz's antennae spark and flash with electricity. <Try to get by me. Please.> She buzzes, wanting more than anything to give him a jolt.

Farfetch'd> The Meowth quivers... quivers... and chomps down harder on the Farfetch'd's wing. "Feeeetch'd!" She cries in pain. You know, through all this, she's still holding her little leek. That's loyalty. <Th... thought I was k... kidding, huh?> He's obviously very nervous - for hurting the Farfetch'd, he expects the Growlithe, Electabuzz, or both to advance and attack him. Gulp. Meanwhile, Billy is mostly interested in Aidan's Pokeball. "Ohh, no. Oh, no, no, no. You *are* insane." The teenager shakes his head. "Your" cursing "dog chews up two of my Pokeballs, you try to run me over, make me stay out here until the middle of the night, then capture my Farfetch'd? Oh, no, no, no." He steps threatening toward Aidan, forgetting all about the Electabuzz. Uh oh.

Farfetch'd> As soon as he touches the Electabuzz, she gives him the lightest of her jolts, just to give him the hint. Aidan on the other hand, tosses the ball at the Farfetch'd, ready to get her out of the jaws of the Meowth. Paws waits for it, hoping the pokeball opens up and sucks the Farfetch'd up in. If it does, he is prepared to leap forward to block it from the Meowth.

Farfetch'd> Aidan throws a Pokeball... Farfetch'd> ...and it fails.

Farfetch'd> Bzzzap. "Oh god!!" Billy shrieks loudly, causing a nearby sleeping Pidgey to suddenly take into flight, leaving her home in shock of the loud noise. "I... it zapped me!! You let your Pokemon zap me!!" Down with the Meowth, the cat notices the Pokeball just in the nick of time, and with a rather impressive move, he leaps to the side, dragging the bird along. She just barely avoids having her claw touched by the ball. "It zapped me..." Billy wails quietly. The Meowth drops the Farfetch'd on the ground quickly, and, with a fit of inspiration, makes a dash for the Pokeball. Maybe, if he can bring Aidan's empty Pokeball to Billy...

Farfetch'd> With a grunt, Aidan mutters "Not again." Quickly he takes out another pokemon and tosses it at the Farfetch'd. He will let the kid have the pokeball since he did destroy two of his. Paws stays put, ready to protect the farfetch'd, and the Electabuzz stays where she is, not letting the boy past. "I told you not to touch her." He says to the boy as the ball flies through the air.

Farfetch'd> Aidan throws a Pokeball... Farfetch'd> ...and it fails.

Farfetch'd> "He zapped me..." Billy wails quietly. His Meowth stops in his tracks as he sees Aidan brandish the Pokeball. <Shoot!> The cat hisses, and, with a "Meeeeowth!" of anger, he charges towards the Growlithe, teeth bared, hoping to catch the puppy off guard and Bite him. The Pokeball just barely misses hitting the Farfetch'd, and it rolls down to near where the other Pokeball was. Billy stops sobbing long enough to see his Meowth rush forward to attack Paws. Hey... if the Growlithe falls for it... moving quickly, the boy starts a sprint towards the two Pokeballs. Will the Electabuzz zap him? With the Meowth's attack work?

Farfetch'd> Everything is half-hidden, nothing clearly seen in the dark fog. It's warm and still.

Farfetch'd> Not exactly...but not exactly no either. Being young and completely untrained, the Electabuzz panics and lets out a powerful thundershock attack that misses Billy, but does certainly 'jump' through the thick fog, sending a shocking charge through the air, and very likely though everyone standing in it. For a moment, Aidan and Paws feel the shivers and jitters of the electrical attack on sterioids, until it passes and they collapse to the ground.

Farfetch'd> The Meowth charging towards the Growlithe is instinctively low, like a tiger charging towards his prey. The moment the electrical current fizzles through the fog, only the top of the Meowth's head is zapped. "Meeeeow!" He yelps in pain, instantly ducking further under the fog. Hey... it's sort of *safe* down here! Peering under the fog, he sees the Growlithe and human collapses, and uses this as his chance. Staying as low as possible, he charges towards the Farfetch'd, and... chomp! Latches onto the duck with his teeth, and attempts to drag the bird toward his trainer. Oh, his trainer. The one who just got his grip on the two Pokeballs before... zzzzap! He falls down from the attack, too, twitching involuntarily. "Owww..." he moans.

Farfetch'd> The Electabuzz, scared out of her mind, rushes over to jump into the jeep. There, she dives in the back and hides under her blanket, hoping this will all be over soon. Aidan and Paws groggily groan and moan, but can't really get up to chase the Pokemon. If Aidan could do anything other than chatter, he would call down the hell-fire on these two cruel creature. But he can't, so the Pokemon stay put in the jeep.

Farfetch'd> "Meeeeowth!" The cat purrs to his trainer, sloppily plopping the still-concious (believe it or not!) Farfetch'd in front of Billy. The boy moans and groans as Aidan and Paws do, but the moment he sees the Farfetch'd, he leaps right up. The electricity is mostly out of the fog, and while he's still in a fair amount of pain from the attack, his desire for the Farfetch'd propels him. "Good boy!" With a quick gesture, his thrown Pokeball slams into the Farfetch'd stomach, and with a quack of defeat, she disappears in a flash. "Ha!" Taking the spare Pokeball, he hurls it at Aidan. "Take back your crummy Pokeball - I've got a Farfetch'd. Never, ever, mess with Billy Putzit, trainer extraordinaire. C'mon, Meowth." And with that, the two evil ones begin jogging off toward town. Heck, Billy's practically skipping.

Farfetch'd> Pulling himself to his feet, Aidan stands and watches Billy head out. "Go ahead Billy. Your name is going up in print." He doesn't speak loud enough for the boy to hear, but he certainly has the next bad-guy for his book. "Let's go Paws." He says to the groggy Growlithe, leading him to the Jeep. "I just feel sorry for that Farfetch'd." Quietly now, he cranks up the engine and heads off back in the direction he was going before. After a couple of moments, he flips on the radio and tries to relax.
