She held out for as long as she could, but poor Aurora can only take so many games of tag, so many questions, so many hours of puppies a day! Having found Soki to be an ample guardian, however, Peppy enlisted his help as a babysitter, giving the Growlithe pair a few hours a week for them to talk with themselves alone as mates, as Peppy and Aurora, not as mom and dad. But, of course, as it would be with any loving parents... the conversation often seems to slip right back to the young ones anyway.

Anything at All: After an experience so world-shaking as the burning of the Assisi Barn, the least Peppy expects from the pyromaniac Streetwind is a memory of the occasion, but she doesn't even remember the hapless pup's name.
Hunting with Briska: ... Yeah, he's got Peppy's genes, all right.

Slipping Away: They don't mean to hurt him, but the puppies are still moving away from their parents, whether they realize it or not.
