Official Statement: Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Howard J Goldberg, and I will be Perfect Pico’s legal council throughout his current tenure in the AWF. It has been brought to my attention that certain acts of negligence and money owed from prior commitments were never fulfilled by the AWF and Mr. Jack Tunney. Now Mr. Tunney wants to continue to financially benefit at my clients expense. This will not be tolerated. Mr. Tunney has gone on the record with demands which I will now state. A picture must be supplied for the website and a list of personal appearances that must be committed to. What Mr. Tunney forgot was to read page 4, paragraph 3, 2nd sentence of my clients contract which clearly states that in response to previously owed funds from PPV sales, merchandise, and ticket sales, Perfect Pico no longer has to commit to anything that will benefit the AWF by using his name. All proceeds are to go directly to my client. Furthermore, Mr. Pico has alleged that the AWF has in the past and continues to censor the wrestlers from speaking freely what is on their mind when it comes to the AWF or Mr. Tunney. Such statements are countered with threats of fines, suspensions and even termination. Mr. Tunney you are treading dangerously close to legal action that can incapacitate the every day operations of your business. I will go on the record to state the Mr. Pico cannot be censored due to his first Ammendment right to freedom of speech. These statements were brought to Jack Tunney’s attention and there were no comments. We have agreed to meet with him tomorrow, August 15, 2003 in order to come to some type of agreement that will be in Perfect Pico’s best interest. Howard J. Goldberg Attorney at Law
