The 12 By 7 Table
The 12
by 7 Table was dictated in two forms, the first of which is shown above. This
table was in fact an incorrect version of the table. The tables are made up of
the names of the Heptarchic Kings and Princes shown in the Tabula Collecta
arranged in King first, Prince second order. The first table here shows the
Kings on the right, since the letters are written in Enochian format of Right
to Left. What makes this an inaccurate version of the table is the fact that
BALIGON appears in the bottom of the Kings column, and BORNOGO at the head of
the Princes column, splitting the right relations between all of the Kings and
Princes. This does not change the “heart” section of the table, but does make
problems for the letters that appear around the Holy Table. This will be explained shortly.
This
second, corrected version has the names of the Princes and Kings correctly
ordered, and then transposed into the English Left-to-Right method. Take note
here that the names have all had their initial “B” removed.
The
table is then split into sections. The central 3x4 table is called the “heart”,
and is rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise, and translated into Enochian to
form the central table of the Holy
Table. The 2 square wide section around the heart is called the “flesh”.
The 2 square wide columns at each end that are left over are called the skin.
This is obviously a human analogy, probably to create a hierarchy of importance
for the pieces.
The
columns are then read downwards from top right to form the border text of the Holy Table, 3
columns to a side.
The
table was also used to form a corrected version of a lamen given to Dee by an “illuding
spirit” on March 10 1582, for the Archangel Uriel.
