Perfecting the musical equivalent of Zen motorcycling, or perhaps darts, the three instruments are, (for an old punk I HATE to say this), 'tight'. Think the Who Live at Leeds, Booker T and the MGs, the Pixies, Portishead. Dig?
Brigid's voice and attitude brought a soulful influence to the band. Obviously (or hopefully) our influences show in our songs: the Beatles, Who, Motown, Electric Prunes, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, Love, Stone Roses, Stereolab and Portishead amongst others. Everyone likes a pigeonhole.... We've gigged at The Hope and Anchor, Bull and Gate , Dublin Castle, Monarch, River Bar etc - you know, you were probably there. The band played songs so laid back and quiet that the audiences were sometimes louder than the band - that was probably you too. But there's more, we rock too... see us soon. |
