**NOTES ON GRAPHS FOR LAB:

• You need three graphs:  average period vs mass, average period vs amplitude, and average period vs length.
• After you “autoscale” a graph, remember to put (0,0) back on your graph.  If you don’t, small differences in data points may be exaggerated on the y-axis.
• Even if you have a good correlation, a line may not be the best fit if the y-intercept doesn’t make sense.  In this lab, if you have a sloped line with a y-intercept, you should also try a side-opening parabola (the last shape on your CP Graphical Methods-Summary sheet).
