the day you pledged your love
the day you stood before the Lord
and Dave and Mum became one
With hope and dreams I know were grand
and joyful hearts it all began....
Ah, what a day it must have been when
both said, 'Yes, I Do'
From love and blessings up above
you watched the family grow and
what for many years known as two
who did became like one
A son and daughter both were born
who helped make your house a home
And in time brought some little ones
to spread around more love!
Now years have passed and sorrows too
which touch all lives its true
But when our house is a home thats filled with love and laughter...
I think tis grand how the Lord blesses us and erases all the struggles
and our pain comes with a gain of remembering ...'it's how we grew'
As love that comes full circle!
