Hi there!

I'm so glad you're interested in acrylics - they're great paints to work with. When I started to work with acrylics I only bought three different colours (I admit they were not even the primary colours) and decided to paint a country design on a set of miniature metal cans for a friend!  The results I achieved were great and my friend loved them which was very encouraging for me.

Following is an index which will help you whenever you decide to start painting with acrylics.  I have included it here because I think it will be of help to those of you who have never before ventured into the world of painting with these versatile paints.  When I dared try my hand at painting with acrylics, I looked for information in books and magazines (i.e. before we had internet) and learned the hard way. I remember the time I tried to clean my palette after the paint had dried!  Yes, I guess I learned the hard way. 

So, here goes,  the basics are here to help you.  But above all, do not be afraid to experiment with mixing colours or starting off with the brushes you already own.  The important thing to remember is to be creative and have fun.
