Hello dear friends,

This is so exciting for me to be writing about PETALS AND LACE CRAFTS' 1st  Birthday!  Just over a year ago, I was working hard to get my project launched with my children's help - it was indeed a challenge for me since my computer know-how in building a website was indeed non-existent and every time I needed to upload a page or make an adjustment, I was not able to do it alone. 

Today I look back and appreciate the meaning of "A Dream Come True!"   When my website was launched, I had some 40 pages, today it is close to a 100 pages with crafty ideas, craft notes,  recipes,  poems and thoughts with more added every month.  I am working on new features and hope to add more pictures for my craft pages.

I wish to thank all who have helped me set up this site, especially my daughter and son and my husband who has offered lots of encouragement.  I would also like to show my appreciation to all who have contributed throughout this year with articles and ideas and also to all of you who have added suggestions and comments in my guestbook or have written to me personally.
