Jellybean Poem

Red is for the blood He gave
Green is for the grass he made
Yellow is for the sun so bright
Orange is for the edge of night
Black is for the sins we made
White is for the grace he gave
Purple is for his hour of sorrow
Pink is for our new tomorrow

A bag full of jelly beans colourful and sweet
is a prayer, is a promise, is a special treat.

Happy Easter!

The Jelly Bean Prayer

Red for the blood He gave,
Green is for the grass He made,
Yellow is for the sun so bright,
Orange is for the edge of night.

Black is for the sins we made
White is for the grace He gave,
Purple is for His hour of sorrow,
Pink is for our new tomorrow.

Give a bag full of jelly beans,
Colorful and sweet,
Tell them it's a Prayer....
It's a promise..
It's an Easter Treat!

The Jellybean Prayer

RED is for the blood Christ gave.
GREEN is for the palms' cool shade.
YELLOW is for God's light so bright.
ORANGE is for prayers at twilight.
BLACK is for sweet rest at night.
WHITE is for the grace of Christ.
PURPLE is for his days of sorrow.
PINK is for each new tomorrow.

An egg full of jellybeans, colorful and sweet,
Reminds me of God's bounty with this Easter treat!

GIFT IDEA:  Fill small, plastic eggs or bags with each color of jelly bean from the poem, copy and print poem and attach to your gift

PROJECT IDEA:

For an Easter Project you can fill clean empty jars with
Jelly Beans
and put the Jelly Bean Prayer on the outside of the jars.
This makes a great Easter gift to give to friends, relatives,
elderly people, and to make for a Sunday School Project.
You can use small baby food jars or any other size jars.
