For many of us Father's Day is like many other special occasion days when we feel the need to celebrate - in fact,  just like a birthday or an anniversary!  Have you thought how you would like to make this day special for Dad.  You might want to buy or make a little gift to show your love.  You might even be planning some special celebration with the whole family.  Whatever way you do spend this day, make sure you tell your father how much he means to you not only on this day but on each day of the year.

 

Let us also remember that this day might be a sad day for some of us - there might be children whose father is deceased or has abandoned them - there are many Christian men who could be a healthy male role model to them.

This is the feast for step-dads or adoptive dads too who take under their wings a child or children - what a lovely occasion to show how much we admire, appreciate and love them.

On this very special day, let us also remember our Heavenly Father and remember how much He loved us by sending His son to die for our sins.
