Old Boys: Tom, Jay, Sam, Matt, Pete, Lee and Dave....

...and the girls: Alice, Devina, Kate, Corrine, Rachel, Amy, Karen and Jenny.

The blues set up an early attack...

...whilst Jay and then Pete look to make an impact for the visitors.

The ball gets played into the pit for Pete, who secures the first goal for the old boys and Tom applauds in approval!

The old boys try to come up with some tactics in the face of the onslaught (l), but Tom looks far from convinced that they will work (r)!

Finding the blues tough in defence, Dave and then Pete try their luck from further out.

Under pressure from Dave, Giles gets a shot off and brings out a brilliant reflexive save from Matt (l). Outgoing captain Romello gives Pete a tough lesson in the sport, whilst Sam (rather optimistically!) sprints down the left wing for a pass (r).

Jay looks to making an impact on the score sheet, as Dave and Tom jostle for position (l). And one for the tactic book (if you look with the eye of faith!) - the whites set up an "Offensive D" with Dave out wide, Sam and Lee at the top and Pete in the pit (r). Beautiful!

The girls' game was evenly balanced for the first half as both teams cancelled each other out - as can be seen by the similarity of their attacks. (l) Emily playing the ball to Charlotte and (r) Jenny playing the ball to Amy.

Alice takes on Charlotte (l), but white attacks all too often ended up in the hands of the opposing 'keeper (r).

Like in the boy's game, the blues started to run away with it. Kate begins to feel the pressure of being a white 'keeper, but manages to make a good save from Amy.

Take me home baby!
