Thomas was born at Nunhead Green in Surrey, England in 1874, his parents were Abel Jesse Hagger born at Great Chesterford, Essex and Sarah Ann born in Thatcham, Berkshire. Abel was a Master Baker in Camberwell, Surrey at the time of the 1881 census.
David Lee would like to trace any records of Abel apprenticeship as a baker. David is the grandson of Gertrude Anne Hagger the brother of Thomas.
