Michiru is the most beautiful and elegant of all the senshi, she is
also very wealthy. She is always very nice to the other senshi who look up
to her. But when she becomes SailorNeptune she is rather harsh and very
cold to them.
Michiru plays the violin,
paints, and swims, and she is very good at it. She performs a couple of
times during the Anime and the Manga.
Haruka and Michiru unknowingly have two of
the Talismans, the Space Sword (Uranus) and the Deep Aqua Mirror
(Neptune). Only when they are confronted by Eudial, one of the Witches 5,
they discover that they, along with Pluto, hold the Talismans. Neptune
attempts to save Uranus from Eudial's attack in one of the saddest scenes
in all of Sailormoon. Eudial accidentally shoots Neptune, and her Talisman
is released, afterwards, Uranus shoots herself since she thinks that
Michiru is dead and her life has no meaning without Michiru. Then her
Talisman is freed from her body. Then SailorPluto appears, who brings them
back to life and they put their Talismans together.
In SuperS,
Haruka and Michiru appear only twice. Once is in the SuperS TV special,
where Michiru once again saves a sick Haruka. The second time is their
unexplained, sudden appearance in the SuperS movie, along with
Sailorpluto.
In SailorStars, Michiru plays mother as she, Haruka, and
Setsuna all raise baby Hotaru together. Haruka and Michiru get the most
airtime out of all the Outer Senshi in SailorStars, though they are
basically only secondary characters when compared to the Inner Senshi and
the Starlights.

Michiru and Haruka are obviously much more than friends,
even though they deny it. While they don't come out and say that they're
lovers, it's pretty obvious. They are extremely dedicated to each other,
but at times it seems like Michiru loves Haruka more than Haruka loves
her. Neptune has to save Uranus' life many times when it seems like it's
going to be the other way around. Neptune puts her life and the lives of
others in danger in order to protect Haruka.
In Sailormoon S, where she
appears for the first time, Michiru is 16 and goes to Mugen Gakuen
Academy. Her uniform matches Haruka's. In the Manga, Michiru goes to
Juuban High School with the five Inner Senshi and Haruka. In S, she and
Haruka appear as the two new mysterious Sailor Senshi. Their mission is to
find the three Talismans, which are locked in pure heart crystals, to
prevent the Silence from coming. As Haruka and Michiru, they are soon
friends with Usagi, but they are mean to the Inner Senshi as Uranus and
Neptune. They find the Inner Senshi to be interfering in their mission and
weaker than them, as they will do anything they can to find and preserve
the holders of the Talimans.
Towards the end of SailorStars, Neptune and Uranus
willingly give themselves over to Galaxia because they want to trick
Galaxia by pretending to be evil, and though they do, it doesn't work when
they try to attack her. To make things worse, because they want to be together and survive by making Galaxia believe that they are on her side, they kill SailorPluto and SailorSaturn. At the end SailorMoon brings everyone back to life.
Michiru says this to transform into SailorNeptune.
A flume of water surrounds Sailorneptune and she forms a
ringed ball of aqua energy that has the strength of a tsunami which she
throws at her target.
This is Super Sailorneptune's attack using her talisman,
the Deep Aqua Mirror. She holds out the mirror and a beam of blue light
blasts the enemies.
