It was a bright sunny day in the town of Tomoeda, as Sakura quickly thrashed down the pathway on her skates. Cherry blossoms were swiftly floating to the ground, getting carried across the streets in the wind. Sakura stopped skating and looked around, exclaiming as she saw how beautiful everything looked. Suddenly, she thought of Syaoran, the boy whom she�fd fell in love with. Just thinking of him made her face go bright red. Her thoughts were interrupted when the school bell rang. As fast as she could, she skated down the road, and into the school gates. As she walked into the classroom, she felt Syaoran stare directly at her and they both turned away as their eyes met. Tomoyo looked slightly evil as she noticed the pair looking seriously embarrassed. The morning passes pretty fast, and before everyone knew it, it was lunchtime. �gSakura?�h Tomoyo waved a hand in front of Sakura�fs face. Sakura however, didn�ft notice, as she was too busy thinking about Syaoran. Suddenly, she noticed Syaoran staring at her from the other side of the green, and jumped. Instantly, she was sporting a blush. Tomoyo noticed this and laughed. Then Tomoyo decided to dig the knife in even further. She waved at Syaoran, calling him to come over. Sakura looked as if she was going to die. �gOh hey�cum hi.�h Was all Sakura could mutter, trying to avoid looking into those deep amber eyes of his. Tomoyo watched as the two kept glancing at each other, then quickly looking away. Then, out of nowhere, a football hit Sakura full force in the back, pushing her into Syaoran, and they both fell onto the grass, with Syaoran having his arms around Sakura to protect her. Tomoyo just stood there staring at them both. Syaoran sort of relucted to let go of Sakura, but did so when he noticed practically the whole school were staring at them. As they stood up, Syaoran quickly disappeared around the corner leaving Sakura completely embarrassed. �gOk Sakura, but are you sure you�fre okay?�h asked Tomoyo as the two were on their way home. �gYeah, honestly!�h She laughed as she remembered what happened. As Tomoyo turned off, Sakura noticed Syaoran walking down the other side of the road, hands in his pockets, looking like he was thinking about something. She decided to go and walk with him. �gHey, Syaoran!�h she called as she happily skipped across the road. Syaoran looked up in surprise and suddenly turned bright red. They walked in silence, hands clasped together, until Sakura�fs hand brushed Syaoran�fs. They both jumped and yelled, �gOh sorry!�h blushed Sakura �gNah it�fs ok�h Smiled Syaoran. For a second, Sakura just stared at him. She�fd rarely ever seen him smile, and only now did she notice how nice he looked when he did. Syaoran stared back. They stood there, eyes locked. Sakura�fs heart started to beat faster and faster, and she began to feel out of breath. Quickly, she turned her head and cleared her throat. �gUm Syaoran�cI need to tell�cyou.�h She paused and turned around to look at him again. She jumped, as his face was right next to hers. He raised his hand and brushed her auburn fringe out of her face and stared right into her eyes. Sakura gasped and suddenly turned and ran, her heart pounding faster than it ever had done before. She ignored Syaoran calling her, and ran to the park. leaving a very confused Syaoran. At the park, Sakura sat on the top of the climbing frame. What just happened back there? Maybe Syaoran felt the same way? Did he? Just thinking about this made her blush. She smiled and walked home thinking about hoe lovely he was. At Syaoran�fs apartment, Syaoran was sat on his bed looking blissfully out of the window. Maybe he�fs gone too far? Even maybe he scared her? He began to think of Sakura, and how horrible he had been to her at the start. �gOh Sakura, I am sorry!�h He cried. That night, Sakura couldn�ft sleep. Syaoran was in her every thought. She clutched her favourite teddy bear, and fell asleep thinking about him. The next morning, Syaoran�fs phone rang, �gHello?�h He leapt back as Tomoyo squealed down the phone. She�fs saw what happened yesterday, and was teasing him about it when she had an idea. Later on that day, Sakura walked into the shrine. Tomoyo had told her to meet her there at 7 o clock sharp. A Sakura was early; she decided to sit down by the pond. Syaoran was heading towards the shrine from the other side of the town. Tomoyo had also asked him to meet her at the shrine at 7. �gUm odd,�h He thought, �gWhy would Tomoyo only want to meet me, and not have Sakura come along?�h He shrugged his shoulders and carried on walking. As he saw Sakura, he suddenly realised what was going on, Tomoyo had planned this! Even though he felt mad, a smile spread across his face. He briskly walked over to Sakura and tapped her on the shoulder. Sakura not seeing him coming behind her suddenly jumped up. She turned around, and went bright red as she saw Syaoran smiling at her. Sakura too, also realised what was going on. �gGeez she never gives up does she?�h Sakura said to herself�h �gWhat was that?�h asked Syaoran. Sakura looked up and shook her head, �hoh nothing!�h She stood there twiddling her thumbs. Time went on, and still they didn�ft say anything to each other. Finally, Syaoran broke the silence. �gWell seeing as were here, why not go for a walk?�h Sakura shyly nodded and they started to walk towards the row of cherry trees. Sakura looked everywhere but at Syaoran. The sun was setting, and the beautiful orange sky matched Syaoran�fs dark, messy hair. Suddenly, Syaoran couldn�ft take it any more. He stopped walking and grabbed Sakura�fs shoulder. He stepped in front of her and placed both of his hands on her shoulders. He looked lovingly into Sakura�fs eyes. Immediately Sakura felt her face start to go red. �gSakura�cI.I�fve wanted to tell you for so long that I..I�fm so sorry for all that I�fve said to you in the past and also that I. love you!�h Sakura stared at him wide eyed. She smiled �gSyaoran�cI love you too!�h And with that, he bent down and they kissed, a kiss that remained in their memories forever�c From behind them, they heard a click and saw Tomoyo holding her video camera, with her eyes gleaming.
