WHAT'S KEEPING YOU
What's keeping you from getting on with your life
What's keeping you in the arms of another's wife
How long will it take
for you to break
the hold she has on you
What's keeping you from being a lover's fool

It's hurting you although you can't see
You're losing the respect of your family
You have so much to lose
So why would you choose
to gamble it all away
What's keeping you, what is it that makes you stay

How can you share with someone who's not there
Your joys and fears, her smiles, her tears
When will you see, if it was meant to be
Then, certainly, she would be here

What's keeping you, the days keep passing by
What's keeping you from giving someone else a try
I know you still care
But it's just not fair
for her to keep you on hold
What's keeping you from ending up alone
