The following story contains characters owned
by various comic companies. It is written as a fanfic parody story not intended
to make any use of actual story lines in published books. The story is purely
for fun, with no profit to be made by the author.
As Christmas drew closer and closer, with more and more stores claiming deeper
and deeper discounts on all their wares, some people began to fall out of the
established system. For some, it was the simple reason that presents and 'stuff'
weren't the true reason for the celebration. For some others, it was simply a
matter of not being able to afford gifts for everybody they knew. There were a
precious few people who had very small families, a close-knit and
correspondingly tiny group of friends, and were able to satisfy their holiday
needs by sending cards and buying a few gifts earlier in the year.
More often than not, young people who have only been in the work force for a
short while and still have fresh memories of the good times they had in school
with all the friends they made there, tend to fall into this last group. Nathan
did not tend to think of himself as one who fit into one social slot or the
other, but whether he realized it or not, the fact that he had mailed all his
Christmas cards the day after Thanksgiving might have given him a clue. He was
in no hurry to actually do the wrapping, but he had also bought the last of the
gifts he wanted to give way back before Labor Day.
Nathan had grown up in the Midwest, and after he got his degree and started
working in the computer graphics industry, the West Coast was the logical place
to live. This meant that though he had plenty of online contacts with his
parents and siblings, the only people who'd be anywhere near him at Christmas
would be his close friends. A few of them had decided to fly away and visit
family, so there were a couple of days and quite a few nights that found Nathan
spending his time at home with his computer and his book collection.
Online role playing was a favorite way for Nathan to spend his time, and he
particularly enjoyed portraying a dragon named Khinsah. This was one of his
favorite fantasies, but the other was one he didn't share with too many people,
outside of those who were prevented from knowing his true identity in the games.
Nathan's other dream was to live the life of a female white tigress that had
human features. This had partly developed from the exposure he'd had to comic
books while in grade and high school.
There was one book in particular that had started in the early 90's by having
the heroine be a guest star in a book called "Flare". This new character was a
truly ancient goddess that occupied the form of a snow white cat most of the
time. When the situation called for her, this cat transformed into a beautiful
woman who was known as Tigress. Her appearance in the book was so popular that
she got a book of her own that lasted a bit less than a year. The book died not
due to any failure of the character to draw readers, but to the bad timing of
making the scene just as the comics industry was going into another one of its
cyclical downturns.
Tigress would be called a villainess by more people than she was called a
heroine, but this was due to her direct methods of sanctioning the agents of
ancient evil gods. Eventually Tigress became a vigilante and had to avoid
contact with most of the deputized law enforcement agencies. In order to hide,
she took the form of the psychiatrist who had been sent to work with her in the
prison she'd been put in. It was now a matter of living a day to day life as a
good looking, long haired brunette. When needed, Tigress would transform into
her wilder form, with waist length white hair, a face that would make any model
envious, and an incredible figure that was barely covered by the costume she
wore.
Nathan had thrilled to Tigress' adventures when he was younger, and though other
interests came to the fore during high school and college, he closely guarded
those books amongst the other comics he collected. She had inspired him to try
adapting her form to imagery that the new computer graphics programs were
allowing. Nathan had a bit of luck, and was getting a name made for himself
among the few other specialists who had access to his work. Little did they know
that he was merely bringing his fantasies closer to reality.
So it was that on the Monday before Christmas, after everyone at his firm had
been let off for the holidays, Nathan found himself alone in his house with no
other humans readily at hand. After he fixed himself a quick breakfast, he
turned on the television to see if Headline News had anything significant to
report. It looked like the same old drivel, with nothing earth-shattering
occurring, so Nathan turned off the TV and walked over to his boxed comics
collection. He could easily spend hours looking thru some of the oldies but
goodies he had. He stopped sorting when he got to his treasured copies of
"Tigress".
A renewed scan of the artwork and stories inflamed Nathan's old fires, and he
once again fantasized about living her life. Her statuesque form, her waist
length pure white hair, the miniscule tiger striped costume which covered hardly
any of her torso, along with the tiger striped shoulder length gloves and spike
heeled thigh high boots that completed the costume, made Nathan start to day
dream. He could easily see himself in her place.
The comics could only satisfy his requirements for a few hours, so early in the
afternoon, Nathan turned on his computer and went to the web. As he often did, a
search was started for anything pertaining to the subject of tigress. As page
after page was scanned, with very little new to be seen, the young man began to
mutter about how much he wished that he could live the life of Tigress and not
have to worry about the day to day stuff he had to go through.
When he cleared the screen he was on, Nathan was surprised to see a totally
different site come up. "Wishes Granted, Inc." was in big white letters on a red
field. He couldn't figure out where this site had come from, but he had all the
time in the world, so Nathan hit the enter button and started to check out the
pages of the site. It just had to be some kind of a farce, so he jokingly filled
in line after line of his particular wish...

The brunette heard her alarm buzzing, and brushed the long locks out her face so
she could see the clock. As the fingers of her right hand with their elegantly
trimmed, coral pink painted nails flicked off the alarm, her pale blue eyes saw
the display showing 2 in the morning. "Perfect," she said, "time to get to
work."
After she tossed the blanket and sheet aside and climbed out of her bed, she
turned on the lamp that was next to the clock on her bedside table. Then she
reached over her shoulders to grab the nightie that draped over her not
insignificant chest, and once it was off, pulled the panties down from her
waist. Now in the nude, which was a form that she had found to be easiest to
change from since her powers didn't have to contend with clothes, a glowing aura
formed around her body.
When this aura subsided, the brunette was nowhere to be seen. There was an
unbelievably beautiful amazon of a woman with waist length white hair and a
golden tan on her body standing there. She reached over and pulled a tiny wisp
of tiger striped material out of her dresser. She slipped it between her legs
and pulled it up into position. It just managed to cover the equipment between
her legs, and covered just enough of her perfectly rounded tush to hold it in.
Two thin straps came up from behind to expand over the massive globes on her
chest, then tied off behind her neck as a halter.
She sat down on her bed to zip her legs into the tiger striped boots, and pulled
each one tight halfway between her knees and her crotch. When this was done, the
two gloves were pulled onto her arms, and the inch and a half long claws on her
fingertips poked through the ends of each finger. She turned and walked over to
her full length mirror with such ease that the heels under her feet must have
been a norm for her. The image she saw looked perfectly straight, so she reached
down and dowsed the light. Her green cat eyes had no problem adjusting to the
dark, and moments later, she was out the back patio door of her apartment and
climbing down the fire escape. She was heading for the
tenements to do some hunting...

Anyone tuning in to Headline News the next morning was treated to footage that
was shot in Los Angeles. It showed an unbelievably beautiful woman with long
white hair and wearing a tiger striped costume who was passing a pair of drug
kingpins into the eager arms of a small army of DEA agents. She had a smug look
of satisfaction on her face as she refused to take any recognition from the
government agents, and would not let the news cameras get any close up images.
She merely turned her head as she was walking away, and said, "The Tigress has
struck. To those of you out there who worship evil, beware! I am now on your
trail!"
Her incredibly lithe form suddenly disappeared, but if the cameramen had angled
their lenses down a bit, they might have spotted the snow white cat which
slipped out of the crowd while darting between their legs. Tigress was on the
prowl...

When she got back to her luxury apartment, Tigress morphed back into human form.
To avoid questions, she adopted her more demure form of a raven haired model,
and whipped up an overcoat to cover her Tigress costume. Enough young women had
tiger striped boots that her own looked perfectly normal beneath the coat. She
pulled off her gloves and stuffed them into the coat pockets. Tigress took the
elevator up to her fourth floor, and picked up her newspaper from the doorstep
before going back in. A quick scan of the headlines gave her a few ideas for the
next night's activities. Tigress was going to be very busy...

In a small office somewhere far away:
"Good mornin', Jim. How was the overnight business?"
Yaaawwwwwnnnnn. "Mornin', Bill. I only got one request yesterday, and working it
out overnight was a real thrill. A guy out in California wanted to become his
favorite female comic book character. Turns out she's a real firebrand! I'll bet
he thought we were just kidding about our wishes, but she knows differently
now!"
"Good show. Get on home and get some rest. With Christmas coming in only a few
days, I think we're going to have our work cut out for us!"
