1. Describe an object that many people throw away. Explain how it can be turned into something useful.

One of the many things that people usually throw away is the newspaper. The newspaper are thrown away or burnt. But there are only a few people that think this material could be recycled. This way the natural resources could be saved and the world could be cleaner. The environment is worth much more attention that people often give.

Many people throw way paper but they don't recycle it. It is very useful for many of us. Children around the world try to recycle the paper but a large quantity id thrown away and burnt. That is why a big surface of forests is cut down. If this will continue, I think our planet is in danger!

Many people don't care for our world. They throw away many things that don't disintegrate. One of those things is plastic. People throw it in the sea and on the ground, but they don't understand that they are polluting the environment. Many sea-animals and birds can get caught in plastic bags, because they float and the animals think it is food. Another problem is fishing-wire. Fisherman throws it away and animals can eat it or get strangled with it. People should stop throwing away plastic and start recycling it.

I am a poor sheet of paper. Many people use me to write letters. The pupils need the sheet of paper to solve problems and do their homework. They consider me rubbish when they don't need me any more. They don't collect the sheets of paper in order to use them again. That is why the environment is polluted!
