	Follow the Leader Red Light, Green Light
	Marco Polo

Anna Rosa, Alvaro and Cristina in First Grade know a game. It is "Follow the Leader." We like this game! It is fun.
1. The children line up
2. The first child is the leader.
3. The leader walks, or jumps, or skips, or claps hands.
4. All the children in line do the same thing as the leader.
5. The leader gets one turn.
6. The leader goes to the end of the line.
7. The next child in line is the new leader.
8. The game lasts until every child has a turn to be the leader.

VERSIÓ AL CATALÀ

Ens agrada aquest joc. És divertit.
1. Els infants es posenb en fila.
2. El primer és el capità.
3. El capità camina, salta, corre o pica de mans.
4. Tots els infants de la fila fan el mateix que el capità.
5. El capità fa una volta.
6. El capità va al final de la fila.
7. El següent de la fila serà el nou capità.
8. El joc dura fins que tots els infants han estat capitans.

VERSIÓN AL ESPAÑOL

Nos gusta este juego. Es divertido

1. Los/as niños/as se colocan en fila.
2. El primero de la fila es el capitán.
3. El capitán camina, salta, corre, da palmas.
4. Todos los/as niños/as de la fila hacen lo mismo que el capitán.
5. El capitán da una vuelta.
6. El capitán se pone al final de la fila.
7. El siguiente jugador será el nuevo capitán.
8. El juego dura hasta que todos los jugadores han sido una vez capitanes.

We like the Perfumed Handkerchief game.
Here is a game we play. It is called "Red Light, Green Light."
1. Go out to the playground.
2. Lots of children can play!
3. Pick a person to be the "Stoplight."
4. The other children are "cars."
5. They line up on the starting line, about 30 meters away from the "Stoplight."
6. The "Stoplight" yells "Green light," and turns her back to the children.
7. The children run toward the "Stoplight."
8. The "Stoplight" turns around and yells, "Red light!"
9. The children have to freeze. If they move, they have to go back to the starting line.
10. Keep playing until one child tags the "Stoplight." He is the new "Stoplight." The old "Stoplight" joins the other children at the starting line to play again.

Marco Polo

One child is "it." She closes her eyes and calls, "Marco!" The other children answer, "Polo." The one who is it swims towards another child. If she catches her, she must guess the child's name. If her guess is right, then the child she caught is "it."

VERSIÓN AL ESPAÑOL

Uno de los niños para. Con los ojos cerrados grita "¡Marco!" Los demás le contestan "¡Polo!" El que para nada hacia otro niño. Si lo atrapa debe decir su nombre. Si acierta, el niño atrapado será quien parará.

VERSIÓ AL CATALÀ

Un dels infants para. Amb els ulls tancats crida "Marco!" Els altres constesten "Polo!" El que para neda cap a un altre nen. Si l'atrapa, ha de dir el seu nom. Si l'endevina, l'infant atrapat serà qui pararà.
