The  children  rule  a  rectangle  on  the  cement  and  using  paraller  lines , they  devise it  into 4 parts , the  “stairs”. The  first  three  are  equal  to  each  other , but  the last one  is  about  3  times  larger  than  the  others  and  it  is   called “king”. The  children number  the  stairs  and  they  “take  it  off” to  determine  the  turn , in  which  every  child is  going  to  play . The  child  who  plays  first , takes  a  small  flat  stone , which  is   called  the “team” and  throw  it  to the first “stair”.  Then , crippling  with  his  left  leg  he/she jumps with  the  right  one from “stair” to “stair”. When he/she  reaches  the  “king” he/she can rest  or  turn , trying not to put down  the  curved  leg . Then he/she makes the  same  road  backwards crippling, and when  he/she  reaches the “stair” where the  stone is , he/she  hits  it with the  edge of his/her  shoe , throwing  it  out , he/she jumps and  steps on  it . The  same  should  he/she  does with  the rest  “stairs”. The  child  who  is  playing , must  not  put  down his/her  “clippled” leg , step  with his/her  “good” leg  some  line  or  throw the “team” on a line. If he/she  makes  a  mistake , he/she looses   his/her  turn  and  the next child  plays . If  he/she finishes with  all the “stairs” without making  any  mistake , he/she  makes a “rubo”. The child who collects three “rubus” is  the winner  of  the  game.

  Τα παιδιά χαράζουν στο τσιμέντο ένα παραλληλόγραμμο και με παράλληλες γραμμές το χωρίζουν σε 4 μέρη, τα «σκαλιά». Τα τρία πρώτα είναι ίσα μεταξύ τους, ενώ το τελευταίο σχεδόν 3 φορές μεγαλύτερο απ’τα άλλα και λέγεται «βασιλιάς». Τα παιδιά αριθμίζουν τα σκαλάκια και τα «βγάζουν» για να καθορίσουν τη σειρά, που θα παίξει κάθε παιδί. Το παιδί, που ήρθε πρώτο στη σειρά, παίρνει μια σχεδόν επίπεδη πετρούλα, την «ομάδα» και τη πετάει στο πρώτο σκαλί. Μετά κουτσαίνοντας από το αριστερό πόδι, πηδάει με το δεξί από σκαλί σε σκαλί. Όταν φτάσει στο «βασιλιά», μπορεί να ξεκουραστεί ή να στρίψει προσέχονταςνα μην πατήσει κάτω το λυγισμένο πόδι. Μετά ξανακάνει κουτσαίνοντας πάλι τον ίδιο δρόμο προς τα πίσω και όταν φτάσει στο σκαλί που είναι η πετρούλα, τη χτυπάει με την άκρη του παπουτσιού του, βγάζοντας την έξω, πηδάει και την πατάει. Το ίδιο πρέπει να κάνει και με τα υπόλοιπα σκαλάκια. Το παιδί που παίζει δεν πρέπει να πατήσει κάτω το «κουτσό» πόδι του, να μην πατήσει με το «καλό» του πόδι κάποια γραμμή και η «ομάδα» να μην πέσει πάνω σε γραμμή. Αν κάνει κάποιο λάθος, χάνει τη σειρά του και παίζει το επόμενο παιδί. Αν τελειώσει με όλα τα σκαλάκια χωρίς λάθη, τότε κάνει «ρούμπο». Το παιδί, που θα συγκεντρώσει τρεις «ρούμπους», βγαίνει νικητής.
