The Snake Game |
We are the 5-th grade students from School 689, Moscow. And we are the second group from our grade who started participating in this interesting project. Thank you very much for sending us games from all over the world. At our lessons with Natalia Uglava, our teacher we translate the games into Russian and we've found out that many games are very much alike the games we play here in Russia. Who is Stronger? Many children can play this game. There must be two teams. The children
in each team stand behind each other holding each other's body, making
a column. The teams are facing each other and divided by a line drawn on
the ground. According to a signal the first members of both teams start
holding each other by their hands and all the team start pulling. The team,
which is stronger manage to pull the members of the other team to their
side of the line. Those who crossed the line become members of the other
team and they stand behind and help this other team to pull more and more
children from their own team.
Nastya, Dasha , Ann, Helen, Nastya, Ksyusha, Nikita, Nail, Anton Traffic Light Draw a line on the ground. All the participants stand behind it. Draw another line 5 meters from the first. The leader names a colour. And if a child has this colour od his clothes he may reach the other line with no problem but those who don't have this colour must try to run to the other line without being caught by the leader. The one who is caught becomes a leader and the game goes on.
Nikita, Nastya, Anton, Nail, Ksenia, Dasha Anna Films One child is a leader. The other children are standing behind the line.
The leader is naming the alphabet but to himself. When the children say
"Stop!" he pronounces a letter out loud and all the children try to give
a name of a movie. It can be a name of a city or a song or a river etc.
The Snake Game It is very funny and nice game to play outdoors. The rules of the game are very simple. The children stand one after another and hold each other by their hands. They stand in a line. The leader is the first in the line. He or she starts running. The others are trying to follow him or her but still they should hold their hands. The leaders aim is to run so that the others can not keep their hands together. Those who break the line are out of the game. So they break the snake. You can play it many times.
