Who is not fond of music?

Who is not fond of music?  It's a part of our life. Are we acquainted with the musical styles? Do we know their origins?

One type of group I'm not fond of is N'sync. They are from parts that are all over the United States. I'm not interested in them because their music isn't good anymore, but I liked them before they changed. I like other bands!

One band that I listen to is Liz Phair. She's not exactly a band. She's actually a solo singer. Her music is very hard to describe. It is probably a mixture of heavy metal and punk. One thing about her is that she never stays in one place, she's always moving, constantly.

That pretty much raps it up about what groups or singers that I am fond of and that I'm not fond of. Remember that music ads joy to your life.

My favorite singer is John Denver.

His songs make me feel calmer than usual. His songs also have an emotional effect on me.  I can feel happy, sad, or peaceful. His songs can make me totally quiet, and make me cry. He makes me feel as though I am walking on a cool Colorado mountain trail with birds singing in the beautiful pine trees, and I'm getting a Rocky Mountain High. Some of his songs make me feel as though I am walking beside a cool mountain stream that is making it's way to the ocean. My favorite song is "Sunlight On My Shoulders". It makes me happy and sad. I also like "Thank God I'm A Country Boy." My mother introduced me to this singer. Another one of his song is called, "Rocky Mountain High."

I hope you will get to hear some of his music someday.
