Britney Spears
My favourite singer is
Britney Spears. She won three awards on the '99 MTV music awards. She has
a lot of songs, she appears on a lot of talk shows. The best song, she
ever wrote is called Crazy. The song has a lot of dancing and she loves
it. She can do a backflip. I know all this from MTV. They have a show where
they tell all the things about different singers. She is my favourite singer,
because she can sing really good and I like her dancing too. She has a
lot of friends, because she is very popular in her school. She is very
popular because she can sing. I hope she does well in the future, because
I am looking
forward to hearing her next
song.

The young singer, Britney
Spears was born on the 2nd December 1981 in Kentwood, Louisiana. Her parents,
Lynne (45, teacher) and Jamie Spears (46, manager) have two children without
Britney: Bryan (21) and Jamie Lynn (8). At 4 years old, in 1985, Britney
had her first appearance in public with the choir.
At 8 years, in 1989, she
participated in the selection for the host show "Mickey-Mouse-Club" TV
but she was refused because she was too young. In 1991 she left Kentwood
with her mother and sister and she moved in New York where, for 3 years
she followed dance courses. Three years later she was going at the selection
host Disney from Orlando and this time she took a job. Brit-Brit (her nickname)
presented the show with Justin and J.C (two members of boy-band *N Sync).
After two years sweet girl decided to become a singer, and then, with the
song "Baby one more time" highted in TOP. She became Number 1
very soon.
Her album appeared in the
12th of January 1999 and it was a great success. Then followed: "Sometimes",
"Crazy" and "I was born to make you happy". At first, at the beginning
of career, Brit sang in opening of concerts, but now she is having her
own concerts. Young queen of pop conquered the heart of Prince William
(17) who sent Britney a letter. "After that, Britney was very happy and
showed everybody her letter" -said a friend of Brit.
