Janet Jackson

Janet Jackson is one of the most popular divas all over the world. She started her career in 1982 with two albums that never went very far on tops. She was even said to disappear as a candle in the wind. In 1986 she released a new enforced album "Control". It was the first success from many to come. Her daring style has conquered young people all over the world. The songs were about fighting naughty boys who took advantage of their girlfriends.

In 1989 , "Rhythm Nation 1814" came as a struggle against war, ignorance, illiteracy and prejudice. It had also soft ballads which showed the wonderful soul of a true lady. In 1993 Janet was the most sensuous album of the year. With a new image, miss Jackson was able to drive men crazy. Her songs now described love, noble feelings and lust. With her new producers, Janet was about to enter the history of music.

After a four year break , while she discovered her inner self with the help of meditation in the desert, she comes back with a new spiritual ,profound ,personal album. It is called "The Velvet Rope" and it has already brought her some prizes (the best singer of the year, and nominations for the best song and the best album). By this she proves once again that her talent is still there and she delights her fans with her worldwide concerts, very well organized and with a remarkable choreography.
