People call her the feminine correspondent of Ricky Martin, the girl that has broken all charts of this summer the sexy bomb that has stolen the heart of all men.

She grew up in Bronx, New York, in a three room flat, situated near the school in which her mother was a teacher. Her début on the stage was made in the first grade. She was Snow White and she was very proud of herself, even if the other girls were making fun of her skin, too white back then.

When she was sixteen, Jennifer was a very beautiful teenager, with a perfect body, a perfect hair and a golden voice. That was all she needs to make her début on Broadway, in musicals. She also got many parts as a dancer in all kinds of musicals.

She was an actress too, in the comedy “In living Color” It wasn’t a very important part but this part brought her others, in “South Central” and “Malibu Road”, so Jennifer Lopez is a new star of Hollywood. She played in “Mi Familia” and in “Jack”. These movies weren’t two box office, but Jennifer succeeded in getting back on top, with the part of a police woman, in “Money Train” in which she played with Wesley Snipes and Woody Harelson.

The role of her life was offered to her in 1997 in a movie which presented the life of a Texan singer, Selene. After this role, Jennifer was a star of Hollywood. She was winning one million dollars from each movie. After “Selene”, “Anaconda” and “Out of Sight”, she thought about taking a break and thinking about her future. So, she married a very famous model, Ojami Noa. This marriage was unfortunately, a big fiasco, so it didn’t last more than one year. Suffering, Jennifer came back in her native town, in New York, and decided to return to her old love: music.

Some say, that, Tommy Mottola, the director of Sony Music, influenced this decision. The two of them knew each other from the premiere of “Selene”, when Jennifer sang two songs. All evening, Tommy made her compliments, although he was still Mariah Carey’s husband.
