Electronic Music

What is Electronic music? It's music where different sounds mix up with different beats. It's basically, trance, techno, rave etc. I love this kind of music because I enjoy listening to different beats and this is the stuff that I enjoy.

But when I sit down and listen to this stuff and a friend walks by and asked what is it. I would say it's music. He would disagree because he thinks music is about words that mean something. But I don't. Because music is all about tunes, words are just poetry added in so you like it more. If words are a part of this music then why would you call some alternative music, music? I don't understand a word the people say when they sing. Or even heavy metal, it's all about the guitar and special effects and one guy banging on the drum in the background.

Why is that called music? See they are so many different types of music. If you go to a club today, you'll basically here electronic and you'll see people dancing to the beats. It's a global thing today, everybody somewhat likes it because even in a regular song there is the beat, but it has words. In electronic music there is a lot of beat and special effect sounds that make it unique. It's the kind of music that can change your mood swing. If you don't agree or agree please reply me.
