My dear, sweet Lissie - what can I say about this wonderful little girl of mine? She has my heart. She is worth her weight in gold bouillion. Always a consistent free whelper, she has been an extraordinarily easy keeper.... and an excellent mother. She did not care for the show ring, but had she, I'm sure she would have finished very quickly. She has been and still is quite content being the grand matriarch of my home.
Her sweet nature, expressive eyes, and desire to please has won her an everlasting place in my heart as a much treasured gift. Ever faithful, full of trust and eager to please, her exuberant body language, expression and little sounds she makes seem to translate into human terms.
A dog's love is nothing to sniff at.
