I saw your 13in "Ch Sweet Eureka of Ransom Creek" on TV while watching the Westminster Show last year and fell in love with her. We have a 7 yr old Beagle "Katie" that is just a pet that we love dearly and would like to get a companion for her. I am also interested in possibly getting into showing so I am looking for a show quality puppy. If you have any puppies like your female I mentioned above I would certainly be interested. Beagles are the best! Our family owned several Beagles over the years. Right now we have no pets. Our kids are grown and it's just my husband and me. That piture is so cute of the dogs. I have a part Basset/Beagle, 12" tall named "Chester". He is wonderful and I want to get another Basset when I can. I love the breed but have not found the right one yet. Chester is 22 lbs. and full grown. He is the be t dog I have ever had.

We just bought our first Basset. A beautiful little girl - 10 weeks old and we've named her Sweet Annie (for our anniversary, which is the day we bought her). I bought her from a pet store and as I'm research the "net", I finding that she may not have come from a good breeder. I would never give her back and love her dearly (we've had her 2 days) but am concerned about what problems may be typical of her breed. Can you enlightening me as to w at we need to watch for so we can take good care of her. Thanks!!!!!

Congratulations on your Best of Breed "Sweet Eureka" at the Westminster Show this morning! I'm at work, but hope to see the Beagles on TV tonight. Enjoyed visiting your site. You have a remarkable philosophy. People need to know how special these creatures are, and you make that point well. As you can see from my site, I have a wonderful beagle named Jazz. He's my pride and joy. For a time, I was considering a playmate for him, but he's 2 now, and we've settled into a "Pack of Two". He's a wonderful companion, which I'm sure you already guessed!
