Michigan Mud Puppies
Two labs, a few ducks and 2 humans living the good life in the cedar swamps of Michigan!
It's the Fourteenth of February

It's that day when everyone is supposed to give heart shaped objects and flowers and candy, etc to the one(s) they love. I believe it was brought to this extreme by a greeting card company who shall remain nameless but they know who they are.

It is cold outside again (8f) and very, very windy. Hopefully the power will not go out as it did the other day. Not good weather to be without heat.

I walked the dogs this morning and have actually dropped them off at Yogi's to spend the afternoon. I have been told they don't eat a lot of biscuits during the day, they like to nap. So as long as I pick them up again before bed time, goody time, maybe their diets can be maintained.

But now I have to get ready to drive to my therapy session and then come home again to get ready for dinner out with DH. Our favorite Italian restaurant, Rosa's.

PS Dinner was very, very, VERY GOOD. Heck, it was superb! I had a seafood bake; shrimp, crabmeat, langostinos in a white wine cheese sauce baked under puffed pastry while DH had a seafood Alfredo which had the same ingredients plus scallops. I had them substitute extra shrimp for my scallops since I am allergic to them (sigh, I do love the taste!). We also had a pinot noir which was also excellent, a 2005 from the California Central Coast; Sterling Vintner's Collection. Best wine I've had a long time. Hopefully, I can get a few bottles for our home consumption.
