Rocket and Luna
Autumn 2005

Michigan Mud Puppies
Two labs, a few ducks and 2 humans living the good life in the cedar swamps of Michigan!
I'm beginning to sound like a broken record.

Again tonight Rocket and I had to walk over to Yogi's house to retrieve Luna. Even after spending an evening with me and DH while I fed her popcorn, (something she doesn't get that often), she still had to run off. As soon as she got there she only jumped onto the sofa and went to sleep. She didn't get a snack, or play with the boys, just a nap. When we left they each got a goody but not the 20-30 they were used to getting.

I just need to figure out how she is getting out! Right now they're both snoozing on the mattress in the corner behind my desk. Perhaps I should get a web cam and attach it to Luna's collar and send the feed straight to my computer....

In the meantime I'm sitting here trying to stay awake. I had so much energy this morning, but I spent it in 2 walks with the dogs and then cleaning the brown gunk out of the inlet valve in my washing machine. I have very brown well water and the whole house filter doesn't clean it all out. Took a lot of soaking in chemical removers and brushing, but it's nice and clean now and the water flows rapidly into the machine once more. I had planned on pinning and cutting out the top half of my lounging pajamas but that will have to wait until tomorrow. I'm too tired to do it now.

Great blog! I found you through someone else's mention of you on a blog on Blogsoldiers... The labs caught my eye. I have 2 girls - a yellow and a black. They're outside right now playing in the snow with my human girls.
