The guys contracted by the power company that is, all along the lines through the swamp to our house. The pups got some barking and howling in and while the men were in the truck cab having lunch we were able to wander through the woods and have our walk without the chance of falling trees pounding us into the ground. It is a good thing not to be pounded.
It looks different out there, a few more holes in the skyline. But maybe my power will stay on unlike the last month when a tree did fall across the lines and we were without electricity for 12.5 hours. Perhaps more sun will be able to get to my veggie garden this year. I like trees but this is a necessary evil.
