Blizzard?
It's been predicted for a week and finally this afternoon it showed up, a little late and perhaps a little less severe than forecast. Seems it's doing the usual "we're in Michigan now, let's split apart and head out over the lakes into Canada and back into Wisconsin". Got a few minutes of sleet a little while ago, but I don't think we're going to get the 6-12 inches of snow we were promised. Not that that's a bad thing, the snow we have gotten is creating plenty of blizzard like conditions with the wind that's whipping around out there. Driving home from town this afternoon DH had to put the SUV into 4 wheel drive there was so much drifted snow on the road. (We had to go to town, we had dentist appointments and at the time it was still dry outside.)
When we got home I found Luna had taken 2 pairs of my winter gloves and thrown them about the living room. She didn't chew any, just drooled all over them. She hasn't destroyed clothing since she chewed the end off one mitten as a little puppy. But one of my favorite slippers has vanished so I am wearing a pair that is one size too small.
This morning was another of our weekly visits to Yogi's for coffee and donuts. I also had a rawhide chewie for everyone. Luna kept ending up with more than one and I had to take one away from her to give back to the poor soul who lost it to her. Tank was smart and went into another room to eat his. Sadie, a black lab mix was visiting with one of our coffee drinking friends. She is Luna's size and was one from whom Luna kept stealing the rawhide.
Chance and Keisha (Yogi's sister) popped in for a visit in the afternoon too, (actually, I saw them as they were escaping from their home next door and got them to come inside). Luna and Chance then got to wrestle for a bit till she got tired of it and told him so. Yes, the Chance puppy tired out the slightly older Luna puppy!
