I bought my ducks, all four of them. They didn't have a lot to choose from, lots of types of chickens, those seem to be the most popular, hardly any ducks had been sold. They had only 3 kinds of geese: Gray Toulouse, African and Embden. The 3 kinds of ducks they had were Indian Runner (which the man said are rather goofy), Rouen and Pekin. I bought 2 Pekin and 2 Rouen. If I like this and things go well, maybe in the future I'll try those Indian Runners. I also got my 50 pound bag of duckling food (the unmedicated type for those in the know). Now I just have to wait till May 16th to pick up my little charges.

After I bought the ducks we got to the farm where I patted my (already made at home) pizza dough into two jelly roll pans and placed them in the oven to rise. Then I took my FIL's dog K.D. a German shorthair pointer, who never gets to hunt any more, for a long walk through the woods. She had a blast; racing in and out, hither and yon, up and down, through the barbed wire fence and back. I think it was the best time she's had in a long time. My FIL doesn't exercise her much in the winter. I'm glad I was able to make her day.

Oh, and the pizzas came out great! Plus the hot tubbing after dinner was soooo relaxing, too!
